Matthew 18

What jumped out at me?

Verse 5:   ⁵ And whoever welcomes one such child in my name welcomes me.

Interestingly, I discerned that it is God’s Will for us, the Church to focus on loving and sharing the Gospel with children. I quickly realized that most churches that I have been in, focus on adult ministry, and personal praise, worship and other fun adult activities, more so, than intentionally targeting youth for Jesus’ cause.

How this changes my life

• Personally, I have led children to Christ but quickly realize that I will prayerfully ask God to help me to minister to the youth more effectively for His Glory.

Prayer

• Father, thank you for the young people you have placed in all of our lives. Forgive us for when we have totally enjoyed our selves in all of your benefits but not shared them and not invited others to partake of your goodness. Thank you for your love for children.
