What jumped out at me?
Verse 20: 20 And Isaiah boldly says,
“I was found by those who did not seek me;
I revealed myself to those who did not ask for me.”
- This reminds me of my Salvation. I didn’t care for God or the things of God. In fact, I stayed away from God and had run for as long as I could run. I could not take another step, but thankfully, He didn’t let me get away. The only thing that I could do was drop to my knees in that church, and tearfully ask for forgiveness. I surrendered and unbeknownst to me, I found the living God. He revealed Himself though I had not sought Him.
How this changes my life
- I believe God’s Will is different from ours. He is Higher. He doesn’t want religion, but relationship. He doesn’t want separation of His people but He desires unity and agreement. His will is that none should perish, while man would smote the sinners if he could it is God’s desire to save.
Prayer
- Lord, Thank you for revealing yourself to people who did not ask for you. Thank you for such mercy and such grace. Lord, use us to impactfully share your message of Jesus Christ with those you desire to find you. Speak through me and reveal yourself to anyone you choose. In Jesus Name, Amen.
