What jumped out at me?
Verse 10: 10 For we are God’s handiwork, created in Christ Jesus to do good works, which God prepared in advance for us to do.
Why it Jumped Out
I am thankful that God is good. I am glad that we can trust Him to order our steps in righteousness, and that He can mold and fold us like clay for His Glory. Through experiences, His Spirit, His Word and more, God manipulates and develops us for His use. This is especially valuable when one realizes the degree he has fallen to sin, even unknowingly.
How this changes my life
- This Scripture informs me that though I feel the benefits of righteousness, it is not my righteousness I experience, but His. For He is the potter, and I am the clay, and He is to form that which He desires in my life. He does good, through even me.
Prayer
- Father, thank you your love, and the desire and willingness to use us for your good works and your glory. I submit myself holy and acceptable to you. May Your Will be done in my life and I give you all the praise. Bless you Lord, I love you.
In Jesus Name,
Amen.
